PAIR 1952 1953 1954 1955 1956 Ford Mercury Brake Clutch Pedal AB2457B - Early Type/Old Style

This is a pair of NEW OLD STOCK/NOS/NORS brake and clutch pedal pads. The brake and clutch pedal pads were used on all 1952-1957 FORD, THUNDERBIRD and MERCURY with the factory 3 speed or 3 speed with overdrive transmission.  These have the correct raised rubber design.

May also fit 1937-56 CHEVROLET CARS and 1950-55 INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS.  Please verify before buying, I have found all the information that I can about these.

These parts are new old stock and have been sitting in a barn but are in great shape!  They WILL need a bit of cleaning and the amount required will vary.  Please see photos. 

I will ship the pairs wrapped in paper first and then move on to the loose pairs.  If you need an individual pedal send us an email.

Will ship outside of the US, but no returns will be accepted from foreign customers.

I will accept returns from US customers for 14 days and only if the item is damaged in shipping or not working as advertised. Buyer pays return shipping if a refund is requested.

It seems the tailgate-mounted spare wheel could be making a comeback – first Ford launches the EcoSport, now VW has followed suit with this updated Taigun concept. Both cars are small crossover SUVs, aimed at emerging markets, particularly Brazil and India. With the EcoSport appearing in UK dealerships this May, however, we don’t think it will be too long before a production version of the Taigun offers VW’s take on the idea to European buyers as well.

The Ford Fusion with its LIDAR ears allowing autonomous driving Car makers are starting to take self-driving, autonomous cars very seriously, and we’ve recently seen Mercedes testing their autonomous driving S-Class in Berlin, Volvo planning a big trial of 100 self-driving cars in Gothenberg and Tesla planning systems that will do 90 per cent of your driving within 3 years. Now it’s Ford’s turn. Ford has equipped a Fusion Hybrid (that’s the North American version of the new Ford Mondeo we still haven’t got in the UK) with its autonomous vehicle technology to conduct research in partnership with the University of Michigan and State Farm (a big group of insurance companies in the US). The test Fusion gets a system called LIDAR (light detection and range – the funny looking ears on the top of the Fusion in the picture above) which can scan the road ahead up to 2.5 million times a second and create a 3D map of the surroundings.
