Here is a pair of 1955 Ford moldings, which based on my research fit the 1955 passenger cars. These trim pieces go from the front of the driver and passenger side doors, wrap around the front fender, and end with the spear just behind the headlight. The pieces each have some spots of damage (both have a few scratches and some spots where some kind of adhesive is stuck on which was too difficult for me to remove by hand). Still these are in good shape for driver use and may be repairable.
Please see all photos for exact condition, check your application for fitment, and ask any questions prior to bidding. If it is not shown in the photos, then it is not included.

London Congestion Charge: Buy 76-100g/km car NOW to get 3 years free of charge

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Whether you think the London Congestion Charging Zone is a great way to clean up the air quality of the capital or just another way to tax motorists, you’re going to struggle even more to avoid it after the emission exemption levels are changed on 1st July so only cars emitting 75g/km CO2 or less will be exempt from the charge, Boris says the new lower level is necessary because car makers have worked their socks off to produce small diesel cars with the ability to hit the magic sub 100g/km emissions level in recent years, and that means London is suffering from air pollution as a result. The only answer, apparently, is to drop the limit to 75g/km or less to make those ‘dirty’ diesels pay their way. By reducing the limit to 75g/km you are effectively only allowing EVs and Plug-ins an exemption from congestion charging, thereby moving their emissions off to wherever the electricity they use is produced.

Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake heading for production?

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

Is the Bertone Jet 2+2 (pictured) heading for production as the Rapide Shooting Brake? At the Geneva Motor Show in March, we saw the Bertone Jet 2+2 – essentially an Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake – designed by Bertone as a one-off customer car. But it looks like the Rapide Estate may be heading for production.

Fisker to buy former GM Solstice/Sky plant in Delaware for $18 million

Tue, 27 Oct 2009

The old General Motors plant in Delaware that until July cranked out sports cars for Pontiac, Saturn and Opel will be sold and retooled to build plug-in hybrids with UAW workers. Fisker Automotive said Tuesday that it will buy the plant, located in Wilmington, Del., from Motors Liquidation Co.--the old General Motors Corp.--for $18 million. If Fisker's plans come to fruition, production at the plant could start in late 2012.
