The swingarm spools provide a sturdy & solid mounting point for a rear stand to allow motorcycles to be lifted and supported upright without using a kickstand for servicing or storing bikes. Swingarm spool sliders help minimize damage to the bike by acting as a buffer between the ground and the motorcycle during a collision, spreading out the force of impact and letting the bike slide to a more natural stop. The swingarm spools are constructed from heavy duty black delrin. Available in 8mm, 6mm & 10mm sizes to fit the pre-threaded holes most bikes have. The first batch of 11 luxury and near-luxury cars put to the test by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety didn't fare so well--only three were rated as good or acceptable. The test rams the front corner of a car into a fixed barrier at 40 mph.

Pininfarina may produce a few examples of the Sergio concept we saw at the Geneva motor show for a few well-heeled buyers with about $3.9 million in liquid assets. “We are considering a very limited run of five to six units," Pininfarina CEO Silvio Angori told Automotive News Europe. The Sergio is based on the Ferrari 458 Italia, and uses the same drivetrain including the 562-hp V8 and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
