Following a deal to supply AMG engines to Aston for its next generation of vehicles (hence the current 5% share), a buyout or even further investment in Aston Martin could be beneficial to both brands. And to emphasise that point the CR-Z will come equipped with a real six-speed manual ‘box instead of the irritating CVT boxes most hybrids get. Which should make it a more enjoyable drive.
