This is a pair of Lucas PL 700 Tripod light units for the MG TD/TF, MGA, Austin-Healey 100/3000, Triumph 2,3,4 and other British cars of that era with 7" headlamps. They are the light units only, no bulb. I believe them to be NOS - see the Lucas sticker in the rear view of each unit.  They obviously have never been installed on a vehicle. The cloudy appearance of the lens is an artifact of the lighting used for the photos. The lens is perfectly clear. NOTE: to quote from the Moss Motors catalog, these are "... semi-sealed units with replaceable bulbs and are not legal for street use where D.O.T approved headlamps are required". Retail price for a pair of reproduction units varies from $169.90 to $344.30.

These parts are sold “as is”;  there is no warranty implied or expressed.

Lexus sales up but Toyota's profits tumble

Wed, 13 Aug 2008

By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 13 August 2008 13:25 With spiralling fuel prices, luxury off-roaders may be seen as the devil on wheels in the UK’s current cash-strapped economic climate – which would explain why last month saw a sharp drop in SUV sales at BMW, Audi and Mercedes. But not at Lexus. July 2008 sales of the company’s RX400h hybrid off-roader climbed 28 percent over the same period last year, rising from 223 to 285.
