Citroen has released a series of ‘cinemagraphs' portraying the new DS5. The subtly moving images are an evolution of the traditional .gif file, and were created by automotive photographer James Lipman and design agency TIZA Creative. Designed to capture the personality and presence of the DS5, the hi-res moving images are a first in the Automotive PR industry - they have been used on various blogs and photography sites for some time now.

Saab Parts UK has secured the sale of the last 26 right-hand drive Saab 9-3 convertibles for customers in the UK. The final batch of convertible Swedish metal will be sold through 87 Saab authorised repairers in lieu of a dealer network. GM profits surge to $3.2 billion in first quarter

General Motors on Thursday posted net income of $3.2 billion for the first quarter, its fifth straight quarterly profit since emerging from bankruptcy. Stripping out one-time charges and gains, including $1.6 billion in income from the March sale of GM's ownership in Delphi Automotive, GM earned $2 billion before interest and taxes. GM's net income for the January-through-March period a year earlier was $865 million.
