These bars were fitted on to a 2009 Subaru Forester that already had factory roof cross bars installed.

You can take off the included adapters and place other adapters/feet on, or if you already have factory cross bars you can try to fit these on.

The advantage of these feet is you can move the cross bars to different cars that already have factory cross bars. Which can be cheaper than buying a new set of Thule feet for every car. You also then don't have to worry about different car widths.

I can't guarantee the fit across all cars. You should check first with Thule.

The bars did hold two Thule Prologue 516 Bike Racks very comfortably for long trips.

End caps are also included and can cost $15 for a four pack.

"Carry-on" engine will power Le Mans racer

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

NISSAN will this year compete in the famous Le Mans 24-hour race using a revolutionary 1.5-litre, 400bhp engine that’s small enough to qualify as carry-on luggage. The astonishing new technology produces more power per kilogram of engine weight than the 2014 Formula 1 engines, and what’s more it’s set to lead to road car technology. And while the engine block is too heavy to take onto a plane as hand luggage, its 50cm height, 40cm length and 20cm width makes it small enough.
