These bars were fitted on to a 2009 Subaru Forester that had Thule Square bars fitted. Were excellent for carrying two mens mountain bikes for long distances.

2013 Toyota Auris leaks

The next generation Toyota Auris (Toyota Corolla) is due to debut this year as a 2013 model, and we get the first leaked photo. We know that a replacement for the Toyota Auris is on the horizon and we’re expecting it to make a public debut (at least in Europe) at the Paris Motor Show in September before going on sale by the end of 2012. But now, thanks to a Japanese Magazine scan, we have a pretty good idea what Toyota’s new Auris/Corolla is going to look like, and it seems to be the current Auris with a dose of Lexus thrown in for good measure.

MINI parking beats Guinness World Record

MINI has broken the Guinness World Record for parallel parking at an event in China in the MINI Chinese Job. For as long as the Mini has been around people have been breaking Guinness World Records with it. That used to involve plunging large number of students in its confined interior and counting numbers quickly before claustrophobia took hold.

Former Bertone and Pininfarina designer, Jason Castriota, has opened his own design consultancy based in New York and Turin. CDN recently caught up with Castriota - who is currently in New York - and discovered he's already working on a series of projects, despite having not yet officially launched the company. Castriota told us that it had always been his "dream to have my own consultancy in New York", yet what's clearly pleasing him most is the volume of work he's already accrued, without officially launching the firm.
