Here are a pair of Trippe Driving Lights intended to be mounted on the bumper irons of a classic car.  These were removed from a 1939 Packard.  They are in overall very nice condition as can be seen by the photos.  One glass has a little cloudiness to it, it didn't go away with Windex and I tried nothing else.  One of the mounting brackets has had the threaded portion drilled out and is attached with a bolt and nut.  I didn't get a picture of that, you may be able to see it in photo 2.  In any event, it will be below the bumper hanger and behind the bumper on your car.  You won't see it.  The lights have 6 volt bulbs installed.  You can see that they both work.  I should mention that one of the lights has a second wire coming from the socket base.  The wire is unnecessary, the lamp base is connected to the frame as you would expect.  I left the wire intact.

There is no need to think about getting these to the chrome-plater, they are beautiful.  If the cloudy glass bothers you, used replacement glass is available for less than $50.  I'll give you the contact if you ask.

I will remove the glass and wrap it separately, same for the top cap with the level, to ship these to you.  The bulbs will be left in their sockets.  I will insure the shipment for your bid amount.  I am starting them off reasonably and have set no reserve.  Good luck.

The Crosswind II concept was one of three very competently resolved full-size models displayed on IAT's large stand at the Beijing motor show. A development of the Cross-CoupĂ© model seen two years ago in Beijing. It's a simple concept: the top half is coupĂ©, the lower half has a tough offroader aesthetic,  and it's powered by a 150kW electric motor.
