UP FOR AUCTION IS A PAIR OF VINTAGE JOMA 60 FENDER MOUNT MIRRORS. THEIR DESIGN IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE EXTREMELY RARE AND DESIRABLE 1958 EDSEL "HORSE COLLAR" MIRRORS WHICH WERE PRODUCED FOR ONLY A.FEW YEARS. I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS ANOTHER SET LIKE THIS. THEY ARE DRIVER QUALITY WITH VERY SHINY CHROME. THEY DO HAVE PITTING, SEE PHOTOS.THE MIRRORS HAVE NO BREAKS OR CRACKS BUT SHOW SOME DETERIORATION AROUND THE EDGES. THEY ARE HOWEVER USABLE AND COULD BE REPLACED. THE MIRRORS ARE SNUG AND ADJUST PROPERLY AS THEY SHOULD. THIS IS AN AWESOME SET OF SURVIVORS WHICH MAKE A VERY GOOD APPEARANCE AND ARE READY TO USE AS IS ON YOUR DRIVER OR WEEKEND CRUISER. THEY ARE GREAT CANDIDATES FOR REFINISHING. Range Rover Sport SVR on the hillclimb at Goodwood Last week, on the run-up to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Land Rover revealed the most powerful road car they’ve ever created – the Range Rover Sport SVR. The Sport SVR comes with the 5.0 litre V8 Supercharged petrol engine from cars like the Jaguar XFR-S and XJR, delivering 542bhp and the promise of performance figures that come within shouting distance of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, complete with a thunderous V8 soundtrack and most of its off-road abilities intact. But after speculating on what Land Rover would call their range topping Sport – R, RS, SO or something else – that turned in to ‘something else’ with the arrival of a new JLR moniker – SVR.

BMW has finally confirmed the M3 Coupe is no more – and that the M4 Coupe is on the way to soon replace it. Debuting this weekend at the Pebble Beach auto gathering, the M4 may have a new name but the concept is the same; BMW’s racing car ideals wrapped up in a pumped-up two-door bodyshell. The stuff of envy, alright.
