Ann Arbor Sportscar is pleased to offer for your consideration a matched pair of original 1" diameter SU H1 carburetors, intake manifold and heat shield for the Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite BMC A-series 948cc engine in original unrestored condition.  The tags on the top of the carburetor float bowls read AUC863.  The intake manifold is part no. AEA 337.   The entire assembly is in original unrestored condition as salvaged recently from a 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite.  The assembly components will require a complete restoration to be serviceable.   One of the carburetor pistons is free; the other piston is seized in the suction chamber.   Assume that the carburetor  linkage is seized, as well.  Please note that there is a crack in the heat shield (see photo).  This includes all the associated fuel lines as shown in the last two photos.  Please look carefully at all the photos.  Please e-mail us for details or if you have any questions.   We will ship this carb assembly internationally; email us for a shipping cost estimate.

We then had the Cupra R launch proper at Frankfurt in September, but it’s taken a further six months for SEAT to open up the order book in the UK (officially from 1st April) and no doubt a month or three more until the first UK customer gets to go and play. So was it worth the wait, this SEAT Leon Cupra R?
