Pair Su H4 Carburetor 1 1/2" Carburetor Bodies Mga All Except Twin Cam on 2040-parts.com
Dayton, Ohio, US
You are purchasing a good used pair of H4 SU carburetor bodies for the MGA 1500, 1600 and Mk2 H4 carbs (1 1/2" SU). Not Twin Cam.
These are overall very good bodies but will need new throttle shaft bushings installed as these have normal wear.
They would be good candidates for getting re-bushed and then building these up with your carburetor components to save down time.
These bodies are not available new in the catalog.
These have been lightly cleaned and are bare bodies only. One is front and one is rear.
The rear has the threaded hole for the vacuum advance line and the front has the threaded hole for the fast idle cam screw.
All the threads for the jet assemblies and float bowl attachment are good as are the top cover screw holes.
Always happy to combine shipping to save on shipping costs.
Please see our auctions and store for more NOS, new and one of a kind British parts.
Thanks.

Mon, 29 Jul 2013The new Mercedes S-Class Coupe & GLA Compact SUV have been testing in Death Valley With the petrolhead world getting used to seeing spy photos of new cars to come on a daily basis, car makers are getting in on the act with their own photos of suitably camouflaged new models. Mercedes already has a history of releasing spy photos of upcoming models, and we’ve recently had photos from Mercedes of the ‘baby’ SLS – the new Mercedes SLC – as well as previous spy shots of the SLS and SLK before they were launched. Now we have the head of Mercedes-Benz in the US, Steve Cannon, taking to Twitter to show the world what they’re busy hot weather testing in Death Valley.
New Opel Monza revealed – sort of – ahead of Frankfurt debut
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Opel’s Karl-Thomas Neumann (pictured) reveals the first look at the new Opel Monza Last week we revealed that there will be a new Opel Monza at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show in September, although much of the detail was educated guesswork. And even though Vauxhall has taken some off the wraps of the new Monza this morning, we’re still not really any the wiser. Vauxhall/Opel are calling the Monza ‘The Future’ of the brand and say it represents a vision of the company’s future and will have a long term impact on production cars.
Kia turn to consumer reviews to drive the brand
Wed, 09 Jan 2013Kia is launching a brand awareness campaign in the UK with the main focus being on over 3000 consumer reviews on the Kia website. It looks like Korean twins Hyundai and Kia are both going to be concentrating on building the value of their brand in 2013. Yesterday we learnt that Hyundai are to focus on brand building in 2013 rather than chasing big sales increases, and today Kia has revealed it is following a similar path with a new marketing campaign built round consumer reviews of Kia cars.
