Up for auction is a PanaVise 75139-399 C mounting arm to fit a 1999-2006 Volvo S80. This style mounts to the right hand side of the instrument cluster so that you may install a portable accessory in your car. The universal mounting holes should work with a Garmin/TomTom navigation unit, satellite radio, or a cell phone dock. Mount is used and in great condition. Aston Martin gives luxury makeover to Toyota city car

Luxury carmaker Aston Martin has forged an innovative alliance with Toyota to develop what could be the world's first luxury city car. Aston Martin on Monday released a photo of the Cygnet, which is a Toyota iQ with restyled front sheetmetal. Although officially billed a concept, reports in Britain say that Aston Martin will put the Cygnet on sale next year.

BMW looks to patent seven-speed lockout manual transmission

The intrepid Bimmerphiles over at www.e90post.com have uncovered a few drawings from BMW's latest patent request. The drawing shows a new transmission linkage and what looks to be a seven-speed manual transmission. Like the new Porsche 911, the BMW gear shifter has six gears in standard H pattern, with a seventh gear out to the right.
