Nissan confirms IDx for production

Nissan will produce at least one of the IDx concepts shown at the Detroit auto show. Vice president Andy Palmer said at the show, “Don’t say that we won’t do both, but we will definitely do one of them.” That statement confused us a bit, especially with the positioning of Nismo as upgraded versions of the company’s normal cars. Surely, the Freeflow could be repainted and improved into a Nismo version.

Students at the Royal College of Art recently celebrated the culmination of two years of study by presenting their final projects at the college's annual MA degree show. Renault's Romanian subsidiary has unveiled the production Duster, a small all-terrain vehicle that the brand plans to launch in the European, Turkish and Maghreb markets. First seen in concept form at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, the Dacia Duster is a response to the unmet need for an economical and affordable off-roader, a category of vehicle the company developed for emerging markets. The Duster is claimed to exude a sense of ruggedness through its high ground clearance, wide wheelarches, imposing grille and body protection.
