Panhead/shovelhead Glide Fender Spears--nice Set (stainless Steel, 1957-later) on 2040-parts.com

Panhead/Shovelhead Glide Fender Spears--Nice Set (Stainless Steel, 1957-Later)
Spears were introduced in 1957, replacing the wider, flat trim. This style trim also appears on Generator Shovelheads and Nosecone Shovelheads, 1969-later. We also understand that early Evolution FL Series bikes with spears also used the same spear set, so the application is quite broad.
Construction is stainless steel, and the photos don't do these justice. Finish is excellent, and the stainless construction means they can be polished, indefinitely.
No attaching hardware--spears only, exactly as pictured!

Opel Ampera plug-in hybrid design sketches leak out
Thu, 19 Feb 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 19 February 2009 09:28 These pictures allegedly reveal the production-spec Opel/Vauxhall Ampera a fortnight ahead of its Geneva show debut. A Spanish website claims to have stumbled across the technical design sketches at a European patent office and – if authentic – they spill the beans on the new plug-in hybrid electric concept car that’s bound for a showroom near you within two years. The Ampera is Opel/Vauxhall’s version of the Chevrolet Volt, the breakthrough car that could just save GM if it survives its current crisis.

Nigel Mansell Le Mans debut 2010
Sat, 29 May 2010Nigel Mansell & Sons - Le Mans entrants 2010 Nigel Mansell is still one of our best known racing drivers, despite it being more than a year or two since he hung up his F1 helmet. But that hasn’t stopped him enjoying time behind the wheel of a fast motor or two and guiding the motor racing careers of his sons, Leo and Greg. Last year, perhaps a little tongue in cheek whilst being interviewed by Radio 2 jock and Ferrari nut Chris Evans, Nigel expressed a desire to get back in to F1 and said he could “…jump in a Ferrari [F1] tomorrow and be competitive.” But going backwards is not usually a sensible route – as Michael Schumacher can currently testify - but new challenges – whatever your age – are to be relished.
