This is a used Parker Airborne Vacuum Check Manifold model 1H5-25 from a 2000 Cessna 172S.

It was working fine upon removal a couple years ago and never had any issues during the life of the aircraft (with about 3800TT).  Buyer and installer to determine suitability for installation.  This is being sold as parts only with no warranty.

The equivalent Tempest model number is AA1H5-25A

General Motors CEO Dan Akerson is auctioning off his 1958 Regal turquoise Chevrolet Corvette for Habitat for Humanity Detroit. The proceeds will go to rebuild the Morningside Commons area of the lower east side of the city. Interested buyers can get a preview of the car during the Woodward Dream Cruise.

£54k insurance fraud foiled by black box

A fraudulent £54,000 insurance claim following a crash involving a car and a lorry has been found bogus thanks to a black box device fitted to the car. Three passengers in the lorry claimed for personal injury damages after it was shunted at low speed by a Vauxhall Astra. However, the Astra was fitted with a telematics device that, when examined, revealed that due to the size and weight of the vehicles and the speed of the Astra, the claimed injuries were implausible.
