The new 2010 model year Vauxhall Corsa has been nipped and tucked, tweaked and polished to produce an impressive average 13% fuel saving across the range.Five out of the six Corsa engines now produce less than 125g/km and the 2010 Corsa Ecoflex diesel now manages up to 76.3mpg (on the Government's not-especially-representative combined figures).How have they made the Corsas so much cleaner?Just good old-fashioned engine tuning, apparently. It's a 2+2 sports car to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo driving franchise and is said to explore radical new aerodynamics which could shape future Nissan sports cars. A host of manufacturers are designing futuristic sports cars for the driving game and the new Nissan is suitably advanced.

Female pilots 'less trusted'

MALE PREJUDICE against women drivers appears to extend into plane cockpits as well, according to a survey. And in another blow for equality, the poll showed women were even more wary of female pilots than men. Overall, 51% of people admitted they were less likely to trust a woman pilot than a male one, the survey by travel agent sunshine.co.uk revealed.
