Bugatti Veyron ‘Ettore Bugatti’ Legend edition (2014) first pictures
Thu, 07 Aug 2014By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 07 August 2014 16:19 Not many special editions make it onto the pages of CAR magazine, but when it’s Bugatti calling the shots at next week’s Pebble Beach celebrations it’s time to sit up and pay attention. This is the sixth and final special edition of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, bowing out in a style not that dissimilar to an ageing Ford Mondeo repmobile. One Lap of the Web: Car creatures of the Hollywood Hills
Thu, 24 Apr 2014-- Jay Leno, presumably back from filming McQueen's Jaguar XKSS, now places his chin atop the front seat of a 1925 Doble E-20, which, being steam-powered, fulfills Leno's interpretation of alt-fuel. Abner Doble built his first steam car while he was still in high school, and by 1915 the Doble Detroit had set new standards of reliability, convenience, noiselessness, and speed -- in 1925, Howard Hughes drove Leno's Model E to 132 mph. -- Los Angeles, car culture capital of the world, has its fair share of hipsters, eccentrics, airheads and Chrysler LeBarons.

Mon, 11 Jul 2011Sure, if it were up to us, every car would sound like a Lamborghini Aventador or a McLaren Formula One race car. And while those specific options aren't available (yet),Ford is using its Facebook page to let fans vote on sounds to be made by the electric Focus. Since EVs are so quiet, Ford needs to give the Focus electric some sound for safety's sake--to draw the attention of people who are blind people, those using cell phones or iPods and even for animals.
