Sun, 19 Jun 2011Jaguar XKR-S - playing at Goodwood ahead of the FoS It’s really quite hard to put the new Jaguar XKR-S in a pigeon hole. You see, it’s not really an out and out supercar – and it doesn’t sport the price tag of one either – but it’s more than just a competent GT car; better than ‘just’ a continent-crusher. Umea Olme Spyder project
Mon, 22 Feb 2010While Swedish automaker Saab was going through tumultuous times and Geely was in the process of buying Volvo from Ford, first year MA students in Transportation Design at Sweden's Umea Institute of Design were busy creating a one-off roadster for an independent car maker: the Olme Spyder. Based on an Opel Agila donor car, the concept's 650kg steel monocoque chassis was created by Bengtsson himself to accommodate a mid-mounted engine.
Veritas RS III price confirmed +video
Fri, 14 Aug 2009The Veritas RS III will cost £295,000 and just 30 will be made The Veritas RS II is powered by BMW’s V10 from the M5, but with no ABS and no traction control, it’s going to be a hairy-chested drive. And you’ll probably need a set of goggles to stop every flying creature from being embedded in your eyeballs as the Veritas doesn’t even have a windscreen. The Veritas isn’t high on creature comforts either, and comes in a 1+1 configuration, with a cover over the passenger side that can be removed to take a brave passenger.
