Best 'Popemobile' for Francis

As people welcome Jorge Mario Bergoglio as the 266th pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church, we've been wondering what type of vehicle he'll choose to transport himself. Francis probably won't request a new set of wheels -- the bestsellingcarsblog.com, the top-selling cars in Argentina as of the end of February were the Chevrolet Classic, VW Gol Power, Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, and the Peugot 207 Compact. Maserati GranTurismo

Maserati has released photos of their new coupe, the GranTurismo, in advance of its unveiling at Geneva next week. Designed by Pininfarina, the sketches also circulating were by Jason Castriota who penned the Maserati Birdcage concept shown in Geneva in 2005, before it turned heads at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that year. There is affinity between the two designs, and a more aggressive look than the current car designed by ItalDesign.

Ford adapts Sync for fast German drivers

Ford Motor Co. has adapted its Sync in-car connectivity system to cope with high speeds on German autobahns. Ford launched Sync in North America in 2007 and will offer the system on its models in Europe starting next year.
