Even the very top end car makers are finding that buyers are willing to pay more for more driver-focused versions of the their cars, with even Rolls Royce churning out the Wraith- a Ghost Coupe – to tempt buyers. And now it looks like Bentley are going to extend their Speed versions from the Continental range to the Mulsanne.

Currently, ahead of the final production hybrids being signed-off, Land Rover are, as we’ve already reported, busy driving the Silk Trail to Mumbai to put the Range Rover Hybrids through their paces and iron out any problems that crop up. The first stage of the Silk Trail 2013 trek was mainly across Europe where, although urban landscapes tested the hybrid’s economy and flexibility, there wasn’t too much in the way of challenging terrain to make sure the hybrid Range Rover was up to muster.
La Dolce Vita won't return to Monterey in 2010
Tue, 26 Jan 2010La Dolce Vita, the second big Italian-car event of the Big Monterey Weekend, will not return for 2010. First, some background: La Dolce Vita came about when Concorso Italiano, the longtime favorite of Italian-car lovers at Monterey, moved from the Black Horse Golf Club to an airport north of Monterey two years ago. The airport location was panned by attendees for its cold, windswept concrete and general lack of character.
