Infiniti, Red Bull considering performance cars - Ghosn
Mon, 25 Jul 2011Infiniti and Red Bull could go into business together developing go-faster performance cars, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has confirmed to CAR. The new August 2011 issue of CAR Magazine has a four-page interview with Ghosn (click here for a free digital preview) and we asked him if we will see a Red Bull-fettled Infiniti sports car. Infiniti shifts away from RWD-only lineup
Mon, 29 Aug 2011After years of staking its reputation on the cachet of rear-wheel-drive luxury vehicles, Infiniti Division says it can continue just fine with front-wheel-drive platforms, too. Infiniti's last front-wheel-drive vehicle was the 2000 model year I35, a reworked Nissan Maxima, which was discontinued in 2004. Now, a bevy of new front-wheel products are coming.
Jaguar XE Estate & Coupe “…a very difficult business case”
Mon, 13 Oct 2014It’ll be tough to extend the Jaguar XE Range in to an Estate & Coupe We’ve banged on for years about Jaguar extending their saloon car range (well, the XJ and XF as that’s all they had until the XE arrived) to coupes and estates, at the very least. We know, for example, that the Jaguar XJ Coupe has been on the drawing board for as long as the current XJ, but Jaguar has failed to build it. Similarly, there have been rumblings about an XF Coupe for years, but that has come to nought too, although Jaguar did finally manage to launch the XF Sportbrake Estate to extend the XF range a little.
