Get up close and personal with the David Brown Automotive Speedback
Fri, 28 Mar 2014The David Brown Automotive Speedback is certainly one of the more intriguing coachbuilt cars we've seen recently -- all the more so because it's a product of Britain, not the carrozzeria hub of Italy. We just got our first glimpse of the Speedback yesterday, and thanks to this XCar video, we can dive a bit deeper into the car's origins and its many design details (unfortunately, there's no on-road footage yet). New Lexus LF-LC Concept at Australian Motor Show with 500bhp Hybrid powertrain
Mon, 27 Aug 2012Lexus are teasing a new version of the LF-LC Concept with 4WD and a 500bhp hybrid powertrain for the Australian Motor Show. It was a stunning two door coupe with the nose from the GS, a profile that had hints of the LFA, a stunning interior and the hope Lexus were brave enough to put it in to production.
Mercedes E 63 AMG S: UK price from £83,740
Mon, 13 May 2013The E63 AMG S is the extreme version of what is already an extreme car in the E63, with a power boost that takes it from 549bhp to 577bhp – and throws in an extra 60lb/ft of torque for good measure too – and promises real extreme performance. The problem is, getting that power down to the road. In left hand drive markets that’s solved by simply offering the Mercedes 4WD option – 4MATIC – which does a much better job of transferring power to the road than the regular RWD layout.
