Replacement Filter Element

You change your oil filter and your intake filter, you also need to change your Race Air Filter!

The Race Air replacement filter stops dirt and fine dust while allowing a consistent airflow of clean fresh air. Your race air filter is an often overlooked, essential component to your racing program. Make sure to have clean fresh air throughout your race with our washable replacement filter.

To clean your filter use an air compressor to blow out the dirt and dust from the inside -> outside. Rinse with warm water again keeping the flow going from the inside -> outside of the filter element. Shake off excess water and let it dry thoroughly before reinstalling. We recommend cleaning the filter after every dirt outing and replacing the filter every season.

*Always use your Race Air filters with the Race Air Aluminum Bonnet

  • Wash and thoroughly dry after each use
  • Change the filter every season
  • Easy to change filter with top wing nut
  • It is a good idea to keep a spare filter ready to use

Alfa Romeo 4C finally on sale in 2013?

Mon, 29 Oct 2012

It seems the Alfa Romeo 4C may finally arrive in production guise at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and on sale soon after. First seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 – when we expected it to go on sale in 2012 – the 4C has been rolled out by Alfa Romeo a few times since – even complete with ‘teasers’ when all that had changed was the colour – to keep up interest in a car that holds much promise but didn’t seem to be heading anywhere. But now, according to Autocar, Alfa Romeo has confirmed that a production version of the Alfa 4C will arrive at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show before going on sale – at least in Europe – later in the year.

Ford eyes dandelions as sustainable alternative to synthetic rubber

Tue, 17 May 2011

Ford, in conjunction with Ohio State University, is turning to the humble garden weed as sustainable resource, researching the dandelion's potential use as an alternative to synthetic rubber. While the automaker already makes considerable use of sustainable materials in its vehicles – such as soy foam seat cushions and straw-filled plastic for interior trim – this latest discovery opens up a wealth of new possibilities for automotive applications. According to research conducted by Ford, a milky-white substance that is found in certain dandelion roots can produce a sustainable rubber that could be used to create plastic parts for vehicle interiors.
