The Chrysler brand will end production of its minivan, the Town & Country, in two years and replace it with a smaller crossover. The switch is part of CEO Sergio Marchionne's plan to differentiate the Chrysler brand and nudge it upscale. Town & Country: Production of the minivan will end in 2014, leaving the traditional minivan segment to its sibling, the Dodge Grand Caravan.

Digital Radio UK has delved into CAP and SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) data, and found that DAB is now standard equipment on more new cars than analogue-only radio. As of April 2014, 55% of all new cars come with DAB digital radio as standard. BMW ActiveHybrid 5 - arrives in the UK February 2012 BMW’s Hybrid efforts to date haven’t been exactly an unmitigated success, with the BMW ActiveHybrid X6 not even making it to the UK before it was dropped. But now they’re having another crack at eco-cars with the BMW ActiveHybrid 5, a hybrid version of the latest 5-Series. The ActiveHybrid 5 gets a 302bhp twin-turbo six-cylinder in-line petrol – a good start – and throws in to the mix a 53bhp electric motor.
