2009 Nissan GT-R upgrades confirmed
Tue, 09 Dec 2008We’ve been seeing quite a lot of guess work and speculation lately about 2009 changes to the supercar killer that is the Nissan GT-R. And all this before the UK even gets its first car. The most speculated upon change, and one that has been confirmed, is the deletion of launch control from the spec for all cars ordered from today.
Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo launches
Fri, 14 Jan 2011Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo When the press release came in for the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, we were a bit surprised to learn that Skoda has been playing in Motorsport for 110 years. We knew they had a noble history before communism relegated them to skip-on-wheels status, but we’re ashamed to confess we knew nothing of their early Motorsport history. We knew of the profile Skoda had in the ’70s with success in rallying, which juxtaposed jarringly with the general perception of their cars.
McLaren P1 driven by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson (video)
Fri, 11 Oct 2013McLaren P1 driven by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson (pictured) It’s only a few days since McLaren revealed the first customer P1s are now rolling out of McLaren’s clinical production facility in Woking, and it looks like Jeremy Clarkson has bagged one to play with. The video (below) shows Clarkson behind the wheel of the new P1 which, judging by the number plate, is probably one of the first customer cars on the road. The opinionated one is preceded in the video by a pair of Range Rovers – one new, one old – at least one of which is a camera car, so this drive of the Mclaren P1 is obviously heading for a TV screen soon – hopefully on Top Gear.
