Up for auction is a brand new never worn with tags XL Man suede jacket issued in 2013 for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2013 when Lamborghini was honored. This black suede jacket made by Weatherproof features : -Gusseted sleeves, adjustable elastic cuffs, double pockets on both sides (one of which is a hand warmer) - Front zipper - fully lined with a zippered inside pocket for valuables On the left of the breast there is a logo of the Pebble Beach Concours and on the back a stunning embroidered depiction of the 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV. The size of this jacket that has never been worn is a Man XL size. Wed, 29 Jul 2009The Interior of the new Ferrari 458 Italia But yesterday afternoon, shortly after we posted the news of the Ferrari 458 Italia – which originally had just four exterior pictures – we got sent a video of the interior. To be truthful it is almost certainly a rendering with no real car at all, but it is from Ferrari and is close as we’re going to get to the interior – or anything that moves – this side of the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. At least the video clip has a sound track, and whether or not it’s a real soundtrack from the track and the car – or something Ferrari has generated on their laptops – we don’t really care.
Think City EV Cup Edition (2010) first official pictures
Wed, 30 Jun 2010Manufacturers have been trying to make their racers more economical for some time now; Audi and Peugeot have produced diesel Le Mans winners and CAR reviewed the Porsche GT3 R Hybrid in the June 2010 issue, but this the most recent fully electric offering from Norwegian company Think. Think has followed the traditional road-racer conversion for this one-off prototype, by stripping out most of the interior and space for the passenger, using Perspex instead of glass in the windows, installing a solitary lightweight bucket seat and lowering the centre of gravity. The company claims the diet reduces the Think's weight by nearly 70kg; that's the same saving as a Lamborghini Gallardo Superlegerra, remember.
Modeling for Meadow Brook: Cars, and dresses, on display at concours preview
Tue, 13 Jul 2010Cars weren't the only models on display during a preview for the Concours D'Elegance of America at Meadow Brook. Wearing dresses by designer Bob Mackie, three female models also posed for the cameras. Mackie, who is known for dressing a number of celebrities, including Cher, originally designed the dresses to be worn in the 1983 North American International Auto Show.
