For those of you who are ‘Vlad Watchers’ this may come as no surprise. It seems that Vladimir Antonov is on a quest to buy up everything interesting there is to buy in the specialist car world (and Portsmouth FC too – no accounting for taste!), which includes funding CPP and its recent acquisitions.

Wed, 07 Sep 2011Audi is set to give its A2 concept a public debut alongside its Urban concept at this year's Frankfurt motor show in the manufacturer's latest exploration of electric mobility. The A2 concept study revolves around the concept of space, with the vehicle having been developed with plenty of room for four people even with the car being 3800mm long, 1690mm wide and 1490mm high. The car is very much designed to impress aesthetically as well as improving the company's green credentials.
Connecticut garage fire destroys Volt and homemade EV
Mon, 18 Apr 2011News reports say two plug-in electric cars--a 2011 Chevrolet Volt and a home-converted Suzuki Samurai--were destroyed in a garage fire in Barkhamsted, Conn., on April 14. The destroyed Volt had just 2,000 miles on the odometer. The owner said he converted the Samurai to electric power a few years ago.
