Ford and Dodge upgrade police patrol vehicles for Michigan State Police test day
Fri, 14 Sep 2012Ford touted the addition of its 3.7-liter V6 engine to its Police Interceptor sedan, and Dodge boasted about the new Charger Pursuit with all-wheel drive on Thursday. That can only mean that the Michigan State Police force is doing its yearly vehicle testing, and two of the Detroit Three are trying to get noticed. Richard Hammond gets to go and play on the shores of Lake Como in Italy with a car we expect he’ll like very much – the new Alfa Romeo 4C. Lots of twisty roads and a small but powerful 2-seater Alfa Romeo sound like a recipe for fun, but this is Top Gear so there’s a twist – Clarkson turns up to challenge Hammond in his 4C to a race with Clarkson on a quad bike.

Thu, 13 Mar 2014Ferrari is to build Ferrari Land – a new Prancing Horse theme park, inside the PortAventura resort outside Barcelona in Spain. It’s the second Ferrari theme park of its kind, following the successful Ferrari World Park in Abu Dhabi. The news comes after a commitment from Ferrari’s chairman Luca di Montezemolo to cut production of its road cars in a bid to preserve the brand’s exclusivity.
