Toyota Verso S – Paris Debut
Wed, 01 Sep 2010Toyota Verso S - launches at the Paris Motor Show It always seems like something of an oxymoron – mini MPV – but there really is no other way to describe Toyota’s new B-Class MPV – the Toyota Verso-S. Unfortunately, this release by Toyota is one step on from a tease. They’ve told us it’s going to be at the Paris Motor Show in early October – and that they’ll be giving us all the detail on 30th September - but that’s about it.
New Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde gets Alfa 4C engine
Sat, 01 Mar 2014The new Alfa Giulietta & MiTo Cloverleaf Heading for Geneva next week will be a pair of updated range-toppers from Alfa Romeo – the Alfa Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde and MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde – with the Giulietta the more interesting of the two. The engine in the new Alfa 4C is based on the engine in the current Alfa Giulietta, but now Alfa has decided the old 1750 TB engine in the Giulietta should make way for its new, lighter sibling from the 4C so the Giulietta will come with the same 1750 Turbo Petrol developing 237bhp and good for a 6.6 seconds 0-62mph sprint. Other tweaks for the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde include big tail pipes, 320mm Brembos, new bodykit, 18″ alloys, sports seats, leather and Alcantar trim, new instruments and a black roof.
BMW launches i sub-brand
Tue, 22 Feb 2011BMW yesterday revealed one of the more significant mobility plans since the inception of the automobile: the BMW i sub-brand. The new brand seeks to integrate sustainable elements with a slew of powerful technology whilst simultaneously improving mobility across both private and public platforms. The first vehicles will be launched in 2013.
