GM, Ford roll out protection plans for car buyers

A plan announced Tuesday morning called Total Confidence offers up to nine payments of up to $500 each if a car buyer loses his or her job in the first 24 months after the purchase. Subaru improves EyeSight for 2014

The pre-collision system can detect a vehicle in or entering a car's path, and if the driver hasn't applied the brake, the system will do so.
