Jaguar ads 'too focussed on speed'

ADVERTS for Jaguar have been banned for focusing on the cars' speed and encouraging dangerous driving. The four video ads on Jaguar's website showed a car driving at speed through a tunnel and crossing over the single white lines in the middle of a road, before driving across a mountain road at night. Another scene showed a car driving on open land at high speed, while voice-overs said: "The adaptive dynamics technology reacts 20 times faster than the human eye.

Bentley-designed Santa’s sleigh

What better solution than something mixing the design class of a Bentley with the snow-covering ability of a downhill toboggan? Bentley designers John Paul Gregory imagined a futuristic Santa Azure Sleigh (complete with rifled tailpipes and exposed Bentley Blitzen powerplant), while Yunwoo Jeong turned the Continental GTC cabrio into a sleigh with quad-outrigged headlamps and begoggled Santa.

Land Rover has revealed the 2013 Discovery 4 with a few tweaks, more colours and Black design Pack & Extended Leather Pack. You can now have your Discovery 4 in five new colours -  Havana, Barolo Black, Barossa, Mariana Black and Causeway Grey – and the HSE gets a nice set of shiny 19″ 7-spoke alloys for a bit more bling.
