Unrestricted Racing CDI:

The Racing CDI advances your engine's timing throughout power band to increase performance, acceleration, and top speed. This Racing CDI DOES NOT have an RPM limiter installed, which would otherwise restrict a rider's maximum RPM, now allowing riders to extend their maximum RPM's far beyond that of a stock CDI's.

There are a lot of performance CDI's on out there, but this is the one Scooters To Go recommends. We typically see top speed gains of 1-3 MPH, and recognizable acceleration increases, especially in the higher RPM's.

This CDI also has an LED indicator light which illuminates every time a signal is sent to the spark plug. Not only is this a cool little addition to add style, but it also helps in troubleshooting an ignition or spark issue.

This CDI can be installed on both 50cc and 150cc engines that use an AC ignition system, which the majority of scooters have. To find out if you have an AC system, look at the connector pins of your CDI and compare them to the images below. If you have a 5-wire connector, you have a DC CDI, and if you have a 6-wire connector, you have an AC CDI. The connectors for AC and DC systems will look the same, so ensure that you have six wires/pins prior to purchasing.

Part Dimensions (L x W x H): 3.0 x 1.5 x 1.25 inches.

Wire length: 4.5 inches

Performance Ignition Coil:

The Performance Coil is an easy replacement and simple upgrade for your 50cc to 150cc scooter. This is a replacement part that Scooters To Go trusts on their scooters, and has seen better reliability out of these ignition coils over a scooter's stock part.

Add a little style and aesthetic appeal to your scooter's engine by upgrading to this ignition coil, featuring a flexible and durable, shielded, orange ignition lead. Customer's should not expect to feel any performance gains from this part, unless it their current coil is not operating at 100%, but at least their ride catch a few more eyes and have better ignition reliability.

Ignition wire length: 14 inches.

NGK Spark Plug:

The leader in spark plugs, and the only spark plug recommended by Scooters To Go. This is a C7HSA spark plug is far superior to your scooter's stock spark plug. The spark plug's on most Chinese and Taiwanese scooters are sub-par, and usually require replacement within the first 1000km of your scooter's life. Don't leave yourself stranded, burning more fuel than you need to, or facing the occasional misfire. Start by changing to a reliable spark plug.

2011 Renault Laguna Facelift gets priced

Thu, 21 Oct 2010

The 2011 Renault Laguna facelift gets priced We guess it’s easier to get your act together as a car maker to price a facelifted car than an all new car. That said, if any business builds a product without knowing its retail price they are in danger of coming unstuck. Still, we applaud Renault for managing to get UK prices for the 2011 Renault Laguna Facelift sorted in a month since the 2011 Laguna appeared at the Paris Motor Show, especially as it took VW eight months to let UK buyers know how much it wanted for the 2011 Sharan.

Ferrari plans to sell fewer cars in 2013

Wed, 08 May 2013

Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo has announced an unusual plan for the Prancing Horse: to sell fewer cars in 2013 than the 7000 it delivered in 2012. Speaking in Maranello, di Montezemolo stated that 'this is a far-sighted decision to strengthen our brand equity, from what I learned from Enzo Ferrari… We must resist people who say the competition will benefit from us making fewer cars… When others penetrate our markets, we are happy to meet this challenge.' Is Ferrari mad to chase fewer sales? It is not the first time that Ferrari has decided to limit supply: 'In 2003 we did the same,' explains Montezemolo.

BMW to market new small-car line in U.S.

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

BMW AG's new front-wheel drive family of cars will be sold in the United States but the question is whether the U.S. market is ready to accept vehicles smaller than the 1-series coupe, said Ian Robertson, BMW AG board member for sales and marketing. The new class is being called UKL--an abbreviation for lower compact class cars sold in Germany.
