Mercedes S65 AMG (2013) first official pictures
Fri, 08 Nov 2013By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 08 November 2013 08:01 Bring on the ‘too much is never enough’ comments: this is the new Mercedes S65 AMG – the top dog of the S-class range. Set to be more than twice as expensive as an entry-level S350 BlueTec, which starts at £62k, the S65 AMG borrows its powerplant from the SL65 AMG, and comes close to embarrassing the SLS supercar in a drag race. Whereas the new S63 makes do with a piffling 5.5-litre biturbo V8 developing 577bhp, the S65 squeezes in a twin-blown V12 good for 621bhp – that’s only one horse fewer than the Mercedes SLS Black Series manages.
Aston Martin finally reveals official V12 Zagato pictures
Thu, 09 Feb 2012AM finally releases official photos of the production V12 Zagato The Aston Martin V12 Zagato finally gets its production car debut in Kuwait next week, and Aston manage to release a few official photos. It does seem odd that when AM has published the brochure for the Aston Martin V12 Zagato online (admittedly you had to hunt it out), complete with a fair number of photos, that they hadn’t got round to releasing any new official photos of the V12 Zagato to an eager fan base. But they’ve now managed to fix that, by releasing just three new photos.
Monaco Grand Prix (2011) RESULT
Mon, 30 May 2011Monaco Grand Prix 2011 - it even had overtaking Far from being a long line of very expensive F1 cars following each other round the streets of the Grimaldi Empire, the 2011 Monaco Grand Prix was full of incident, accident and overtaking. Oh, and a dose of petulance too. Let’s cut to the chase: Vettel won yet again – from pole – and extended his lead to the point where many will say he’s un-catchable.
