2012 Volvo V40: Full set of photos leak
Mon, 27 Feb 2012The 2012 Volvo V40 now leaks completely We have a full set of photos of the new 2012 Volvo V40 – ahead of a debut at Geneva 2012 – thanks to yet another leak. We’ve got used to new cars leaking out a bit at a time on the Interwebs, but photos of the new 2012 Volvo V40 have been leaking like a sieve for weeks, despite the official debut not being until Geneva in a week or so. First we had what looked to be a scan from a brochure of the new V40, followed closely by a couple of official exterior photos of the V40, just to be sure.
Honda unveils 2014 NSX Concept-GT racer
Fri, 16 Aug 2013Honda has taken the covers off its NSX Concept-GT racer, a bespoke competition car set to race in the 2014 Japanese ‘Super GT’ series. And boy, does it look good. The unveiling of the new prototype challenger follows an on-track debut for the Honda NSX concept at Mid-Ohio Raceway in America earlier this month – and once again, it’s piqued our interest in the new Japanese hybrid supercar set for launch in 2015.
Renault Alpine A110-50
Fri, 25 May 2012As we reported earlier this week, the Renault Alpine A110-50 prototype will be shown at the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. Designed by Yann Jarsalle and Concept and Show Car Director Axel Breun the A110-50 effectively relaunches the historic Alpine brand despite being essentially a reworked version of the Renault-branded DeZir concept unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. As well as the addition of various Alpine design cues – the stylized yellow spot lamp pods, central hood flute and blue and orange colorway – the car is built on the platform of the RenaultSport Megane Trophy racecar and so therefore requires cooling provisions for its mid-mounted engine.
