Daihatsu hits Indonesian show with eight new concept cars
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Daihatsu has launched a product offensive on the Indonesian International Motor Show in Jakarta, with eight concept cars all based around the theme ‘Compact ECO Mobility Best Friend'. As their endearingly Jenglish theme suggests, each of the cars is as compact as possible – Daihatsu is best known for producing Kei cars for its domestic Japanese market. (Incidentally the company's Tanto remains the most adorable of the Kei breed.) The UFC 2 (the blue car) is an evolution of the UFC that was show in 2012 and manages to squeeze seven seats into is handsomely contemporary body.

Competing in the Superlight R600 Championship from 2013, the racer is the most extreme machine yet from Caterham to take to the circuit, but CAR hears there'll be a road legal version along soon for hardcore track day fans. Tue, 13 May 2014Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo (pictured) launches The Skoda Citigo may be a small city runaround, but that’s not stopping Skoda tagging the Monte Carlo badge on to give it a bit more appeal. The Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo has been launched with the usual array of tweaks and titivations Skoda likes to use on its Monte Carlo models, but no extra power. That means a trim level based on the mid-range Citigo SE spec with black highlights for the exterior on the alloys, front and rear spoiler, rear diffuser, grill and door mirrors and a lowering of the suspension for a more dynamic appearance.
