GM's next eco-concept car

The concept will feature radical styling, with a diesel engine acting as a generator for the concept’s electric motor. And General Motors is believed to be collaborating with urban electric scooter manufacturer Segway; the unnamed concept may be able to carry one or more of the £4000, gyroscope-controlled devices for use in town once you’ve parked.

The press statement says the Metropolis concept ‘pays homage to China’s extraordinary development’ but just how this Citröen forces millions of people to live in poverty with no access to an uncensored media isn’t yet clear.A massive 5.3m long (longer than a stretched 7-series) but only 1.4m high, the four-door coupe’s styling has echoes of Citröen’s incredible GT supercar concept of 2008 and was developed by Citröen’s Shanghai-based design team. It's a 2+2 coupé, although Munich will launch the 6-series convertible (F12) first in March 2011; the 6-series coupé (F13) based on this two-door arrives in September 2011.Which 6-series models are coming?Expect 640i and 650i petrol 6-series, while the diesel Six gets upgraded to a 640d.
