New Jaguar XJ – best photo yet
Thu, 16 Apr 2009The best picture yet of the new Jaguar XJ - due to be revealed in July Due to be shown officially in July, before a full presentation at Frankfurt in September, the new Jaguar XJ is designed to take the fight to BMW, Audi and Mercedes. And if how it looks is anything to go by Jaguar will have another big success on its hands, to go along with the XF. Although based on the existing XJ’s lightweight chassis (nothing wrong with that) but with a back end which is very much derived from the XF, the car is totally re-skinned, and looks finally how a modern Jaguar luxury saloon should.
Jaguar F-Type: Does F-Type pricing mean the next XK heading in to Aston Martin territory?
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Jaguar has priced the new F-Type at a higher level than we expected. Does that mean the next Jaguar XK is heading upmarket? The entry-level F-Type – with the V6 supercharged engine delivering 340PS – is going to cost £58.5k, and that’s before you stick on £10k of extras to get the bits you really want.
Saab's new 9-5 (2009) leaks early: the first photos
Thu, 23 Jul 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 23 July 2009 09:00 Breaking news: early shots of the new Saab 9-5 have leaked out early in Germany. These low-res photos of the new 9-5 were published online today – revealing an exec that trades on the style that has made Saab's greatest hits so distinctive. There's a hint of old 900 around the C-pillar, lending a dash of coupé style to what remains a defiantly four-door saloon to rival the Audi A6 and other execs. Note also how the side glass graphic slopes rearwards, in Saab's true cockpit style. The face of the new Saab 9-5 is distinguished by a much more dominant grille, with a pair of headlamps ringed with chrome (it works much better than on the current geriatric 9-5, don't worry!) and a prominent Saab name.
