Our custom wire sets have factory terminated ends for a superior connection and perfect fit, without cutting, crimping and splicing. Features : Two current paths for reliability and redundancy. Primary path: Spiral wound stainless steel alloy. Secondary path: Carbon impregnated fiberglass center core. Low 500 ohm per foot resistance. 8mm Silicone jacket to resist high temperatures, moisture, oil and chemicals. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Methylene) inner insulation for superior heat resistance and prevention of arcing and voltage leaks. Fiberglass reinforcing braid for added strength and flexibility. It’s got more power, trick tyres, adjustable dampers, a titanium exhaust, and with that armoury Renault is firing a warning shot across the bows of forthcoming mega hatches like the Honda Civic Type R and Vauxhall Astra VXR Extreme. Renaultsport has worked on the regular Megane 265's turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine to find an extra 10bhp, so peak power is now 271bhp (or 275PS, hence the name) delivered at 5500rpm.

Land Rover say it’s a concept, but it looks like it’s heading for production. It may not be the world’s first SUV Convertible (that dubious honour goes the the Nissan Murano Convertible) but the Range Rover Evoque Convertible is certainly the world’s best looking SUV Convertible.

Fri, 29 May 2009This year's CCS Senior Show provided another year of outstanding graduates while the automotive industry continues to retract due to the global financial crisis. Given all the negative news about auto bankruptcies and closures, it was refreshing to see such youthful, creative and challenging designs in a modern and hopeful environment. The projects on display ranged from militaristic Jeep off-road vehicles to a microvan for the ‘future family of two = single parent + only child'.
