CDN-GM/PATAC Interactive Design Contest 2013 launched

After the overwhelming success of its European and North American interactive design competitions, GM and Car Design News are excited to announce the launch of their first competition exclusively for the Chinese market, the CDN–GM/PATAC Interactive Design Competition China. According to Bryan Nesbitt, Vice President of Design at GM International Operations, "We are excited about the potential regarding a China-dedicated competition. Design is the initial product differentiator in the automotive retail space, so demand for top design talent will continue." Ford's legendary Mustang turns 50

THE ICONIC Ford Mustang has reached its 50th birthday and the largest gathering of racing models ever in the UK is being planned to mark the occasion. More than 25 race-prepared Mustangs are being assembled for the Silverstone Classic event on 25-27 July. Among the cars entered for the race there are several famous models from the cars early days in the 1960s, as well as many that are regularly raced today in historic competitions.

An estimated 1100 Subarus drove from his home town of Lanark in Scotland to Prodrive's HQ in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Colin's dad, Jimmy McRae led the Scooby convoy on its nine-hour and 300-mile pilgrimage.
