Tie Coat Primer 6627 is a general purpose, chlorinated rubber primer for use on metal surfaces and as a tie coat between different types of coatings. This versatile product can be used successfully above and below the waterline. When used over Pettit 6455/044 Metal Primer, it forms an excellent, easy to use system for use on all underwater running gear. It is compatible with all Pettit antifouling bottom paints, and with Easypoxy, vinyl alkyds and conventional alkyds. Use Epoxy Thinner 97.

Called the Urban Utility, or U2, the vehicle is intended to appeal to those who have embraced maker culture - the trend of learning new practical skills, embracing new construction technologies like 3D printing, and applying them in an inventive and often entrepreneurial way. The U2 will be unveiled at the World Maker Faire in New York City on 20 September and was designed at Toyota's Calty studio in Newport Beach, CA.

Lots of people haven't bought a Bugatti Veyron for many reasons - chiefly cost - but for the few who found the Bugatti supercar too slow, this is the answer: the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, aka the World's Fastest Car. Whereas previous limited-edition Veyrons such as the all-black Sang Noir made do with cosmetic changes, the Super Sport Bugatti has done a lot more than just give it a new lick of paint. Out go the large overhead air scoops, replaced by deep air ducts.

Volkswagen has announced a Beetle Dune concept will take to its show stand at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) next week – promising to bring a bit of beach buggy sunshine to the polar vortex chilled show halls of Detroit. So far VW has only released the pair of design concepts pictured here, but together with a few choice details you can clearly figure out what we’re dealing with here. The Dune is a Beetle that’s been given a rugged off-road makeover.
