This item is from my Fathers Estate.  When he was not going to sports games he owned Car and Motorcycle dealership in Texas. This was part of his left over inventory I have not even begun to get into. I still have an entire house and now a warehouse to research.  I usually specialize in vintage items and I can say that this is not but within the past 8 years.  This patch is iron on and measures 3" wide x 3" tall.  There were only a few of these left in his inventory.  Any questions, please feel free and ask!

The remaining 96% either don’t care or simply go with whatever a mechanic recommends, leading to calls from a leading engine oil manufacturer and the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) for raised awareness of the benefits of high-grade engine lubricants. In a study of 1,000 drivers, conducted on behalf of Mobil 1, 65% said they wouldn’t know what oil viscosity their car would need to take, while 69% added they had no idea which brand of oil their car manufacturer recommends.

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

It's been all but a foregone conclusion for some time now, but Land Rover has confirmed to our sister publication Automotive News Europe that the aging Defender won't live to see 2020. Originally conceived as an agricultural machine, the first Land Rover prototype used scavenged Willys Jeep bits left over from World War II. American kids of a certain age may have been captivated by the Land Rover's mystique while watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom back in the '70s.
