Up for auction is 2 PIAA 80 Racing lights. I don't know much about these....the part number is PR801. I got them from a pawn shop years ago to put on my mud bogger but ended up blowing the engine out of her first...so I never did mount them. If they aren't new...they are close to it. Both come with white lense cover....however...I do not have the harness for these monsters. I did see them for sale in a couple of Ebay stores here though. These lights are untested due to me not having a harness...and due to the nature of electronics...they will be sold AS-IS with no returns. Shoot me an email if  you have any questions and il try my best to find you an answer. Shipping will be 20.00

Aston Martin in talks with Mercedes for engine supply

Thu, 09 May 2013

It has seemed for some time that Aston Martin’s wish-list for future engines revolved around Mercedes. They currently use a V12 developed from Ford’s Mondeo V6 and a V8 that’s a development of the 4.2 litre that was in Jaguars (and Range Rovers) until a few years ago, but new engines (and new platforms) are vital if Aston are to remain competitive. Before the recent investment in AML by Investindustrial, there were plans for Aston to use both engines and platforms from Mercedes (the Lagonda SUV was built on the underpinnings of the Mercedes GL) and even the possibility that Aston Martin would design and build the next generation Maybach.

Lotus Evora – all new photos

Sat, 02 May 2009

All new pictures of the Lotus Evora - to be launched in the UK in June It does seem to have taken for ever to get the Lotus Evora in to showrooms – it’s been coming for almost a year now. We did finally get Lotus Evora specifications and UK prices back in March, but even though the launch has once again been put back (from May until June) the release of these photos is clear evidence that finally the Lotus Evora is about ready. The first four-seater Lotus in an age (although it’s really a 2+2, and then only if you pay extra for the rear seats), the Evora has a mid-engined 3.5 litre V6 Toyota lump, fettled and sorted by Lotus to produce 276bhp.
