PIEPS JetForce Tour Rider 24L Avalanche Airbag Backpack RED SMALL/MED When your trekking deep into the backcountry, avalanche safety is vital. Avalanche airbags been around for years and used finnicky air cannisters that are difficult to use and cannot be brought onto an airplane. PIEPS addressed these issues with the JetForce Tour Rider 24 Avalanche Airbag Backpack. In the event of an avalanche, simply deploy the airbag which helps keep you on top of the snow therefore reducing the chances of the skier getting buried. A small jet fan is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery which is easy and safe to take on an airplane. This small fan fills the 200 liter Cordura bag in under four seconds. After the initial inflation, the jet fan cycles periodically to keep the bag inflated in case any small tears occured due to sticks or debris. The bag then deflates offering an air pocket for increased breathing and survival time in the event the skier is buried. The PIEPS JetForce Tour Rider 24L bag is the perfect size for day trips to your favorite zones. 24 liters offers plenty of space for extra layers and a lunch. PIEPS built this pack with a compartment for all of your avalanche tools such as your beacon, shovel and probe. A ski/snowboard carry system can accomodate virtually any ski with and anti-icing buckles remain operable when it gets icy. SpecificationsWeight: 3400g Colors: black/PIEPS-yellow, black/chili-red Volume: 24 liters Sizes (unisex): Torso: 41-48 cm, Waist: 66-130 cm |
