You can also clip it to other surfaces in your cockpit such as your visor, glareshield, or seat belts. Flavio Briatore is launching legal action to get his lifetime ban overturned Flavio Briatore will start legal proceedings in the Paris Tribunal de Grande tomorrow in an attempt to overturn the lifetime ban he received from the FIA for his part in the ‘Singapore-Gate’ race fixing episode, which saw Nelson Piquet Jnr intentionally crashing his car to allow team mate Fernando Alonso to take victory in the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. Briatore is claiming the life time ban from involvement in any FIA sanctioned Motor Sport – including driver management – is a legal absurdity. And he probably has a point.

Auctioneer Dean Kruse's money woes continue

Auburn, Ind., auctioneer Dean Kruse has been ordered by a local court to pay more than $1.3 million to an Indiana bank, and a leasing company has asked a federal judge to repossess Kruse's 1985 Cessna jet, which had been insured at $3.5 million. These two recent events are on top of several months' worth of financial woes for one of the classic-car world's best-known auctioneers. AutoWeek reported in August that people from across the country were complaining that they had not been paid for cars sold at various Kruse International auctions.
