The headset is the only self-contained ANR in the industry with a rechargeable nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery with wall charger. The PA-1779T comes equipped with our new Auto On/Auto Shut-off proprietary circuitry. The ANR will shut-off automatically when the unit is unplugged from the aircraft or the master switch is turned off. This will conserve your battery?s charge enabling longer use between charges. The headset will automatically turn on when it is plugged in and the radio is turned on. There is a manual override On/Off switch on the headset in case you require the ANR to function when the unit is not plugged into the aircraft.  The PA-1779T is the standard GA version (dual plug) of the headset that uses an internal rechargeable battery to power the ANR. News of debuts at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show are starting to come in thick and fast, and although Subaru don’t have any world debuts to offer at Geneva, we will be seeing the European debut of the Subaru BRZ in production guise, as well as the first look in Europe at the new Impreza 5-door. The Subaru BRZ is the other half of the Toyota GT 86 partnership (the Toyota GT 86 will also get its European debut at Geneva) and, apart from some minor styling tweaks, is pretty much the same car as the GT 86.
Hospital staff face 'extortionate' parking charges
Fri, 22 Aug 2014HOSPITAL bosses have been branded immoral for introducing "extortionate" parking charges for staff who need their cars for work. The union Unite said England should come in line with Scotland and Wales where NHS staff were not made to pay to park. The union was responding to South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust's decision last month to start charging health visitors and community nurses £1.20 an hour to park.
