Features This compact courtesy LED lighting fixture is ideal as a compact lighting source inside boats, aircraft, automotive, RV and truck applications. The surface mount configuration directs lighting downward and is ideal for lighting vehicle interiors including footwells, walkways, map tables and other areas. Operates at 24 to 28 VDC. This lamp is also DOT approved as a license plate lamp on vehicles and trailers. For interior applications, the three (3) bright warm white LEDs are dimmable (see our other items for 24 Volt DC PWM dimmers) and have extremely low power consumption (0.1mA). Lotus V8: the new engine plan in full
Thu, 23 Jun 2011Lotus has confirmed details for its new inhouse V8 engine family, which will make its first road car appearance in the 2013 Esprit. Responding to feedback which said the 'New Era' plan to launch five new models was weakened by its reliance on Toyota engines, the new management team decided last Christmas to design and develop its own engine. 'The feedback from customers was "how can you justify a £100,000 car with a Toyota engine?",' said chief executive Dany Bahar.

It’s a smarter adaptation of the existing Outlander plug-in hybrid road car. Mitsubishi describes it thus: ‘The Outlander PHEV Concept-S is a concept model MMC proposes as a special package of the Outlander PHEV production model that has a refined interior and exterior design that magnifies the Outlander PHEV’s unique driving experience.’ Not a huge amount to go on then.
