This is a used Original CONVERTIBLE TOP FRAME removed from a 1984 Pininfarina Azzurra Spider. As pictured, it will need new cloth or vinyl top. It has both side glass windows, but part of the frame of one of them is rusted away. It moves freely and includes the rear retainer bracket. A large piece that may carry a dimensional surcharge. Three-time Le Mans 24 Hours race champion Allan McNish has told us that technology first trialled at the world famous endurance event often makes it on to road cars – and this year’s big thing will be laser lights. Speaking ahead of Le Mans 2014, McNish said that racing is more relevant to everyday cars than people think – with features from seat belts to windscreen wipers debuting at the race. Manufacturers report 2013 sales boom

CAR MANUFACTURERS are reporting strong surges in sales for 2013, with one mainstream brand up by more than 55%. So far Ford, Vauxhall, Skoda, MG, Lexus, Renault, Audi and Mercedes have all reported excellent sales performance, with Mercedes having passed the 100,000 registrations per year mark for the first time in the UK. Largely thanks to the introduction of the Dacia brand this year, the Renault Group has seen a 55.3% rise in sales, to 63,319 units.

MORE THAN one in three vehicles stolen in London are taken by hackers who do not have the owner's keys, the Home Secretary has revealed. Sophisticated car thieves are breaking into cars and programming new electronic keys instead, Theresa May said in a speech in Westminister. The hi-tech theft was given as an example of changing threats faced by police in modern Britain.
