This is the Original Pininfarinia Yearbook 1967



Pictures are of the actual item. The dust jacket has some wear and tear as shown in the pictures. As you can see, the book cover is as pictured and in good condition. Of course there is normal wear, as shown in the pictures, but the cover is intact, the spine is intact and cover is secured and attached with some separation of the cover, as shown in the pictures. The pages turn freely. The edges of the pages are crisp and sharp, as seen in photos. The book itself is clean but may have an old book scent. Language: Italian.

Women are now the driving force in cars

WOMEN now account for more than half of all driving licence holders in the USA and the UK is set to follow this example by 2016. Younger women drivers are helping to boost the number of female driving licence holders around the world, but older women drivers are also growing in number. The number of males applying for a new driving licence has declined in the last three years, but the number of women applying for a driving licence has gone up by 2.5%.

BRP Design Center Inauguration

On September 10th, Canadian powersports specialist BRP inaugurated its new Design & Innovation Centre in Valcourt, Quebec (one hour south-east of Montreal, near the US border). This new 5000 m2 state-of-the-art building will house BRP's design and advanced concept teams working on all its brands and product families: the Can-Am spyders and ATVs, Lynx and Ski Doo snowmobiles, Sea Doo personal watercrafts and speedboats, and related lifestyle and accessories design. The team of 60 individuals includes transportation designers, product designers, graphic designers, engineers, human factors experts, mechanics, CAD technicians, modelers, molders, painters, and management.

The Porsche Boxster has been completely redesigned as it enters its third generation since its introduction in 1996. As can be expected from the Stuttgart manufacturer, the design is progressive, evolving the familiar two-seater into a more distinctive proposition within the Porsche range. Its proportions are also altered, with a flatter silhouette and shorter overhangs, while the base of the windscreen has been significantly shifted forward.
