It’s more credible because it’s voted on by car dealers across the UK – from a wide range of franchises – and gives credibility not just to the new Range Rover but to Land Rover’s support of dealers too. Car Dealer Magazine say the new Range Rover was the clear winner by a mile, with dealers commenting the latest version of the Range Rover is a gargantuan step on from the old model – which itself was already very good – and that it ‘Cannot fail to impress’.

The Lambo 4x4 was first shown in Bejing at the 2012 Chinese motor show - signalling Sant'Agata's intent to take on Range Rover et al with a sporting luxury SUV. Last Saturday night (April 20) was one of those I-can't believe-I-get-paid-to-do-this kind of evenings. My wife Maria and I -- along with 550 of our closest friends -- were invited to attend the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute's 31st annual dinner. The name sort of says it all, and the dinner is a simple enough concept that even I get it: It's held to raise money.
